本校の国際交流担当教員エンケ先生が、モンゴル・タイ・ラオスなどからの留学生4名と留学経験のある日本人学生3名を引率し、八戸市主催の多文化共生推進委員会ワークショップに参加しました。

八戸工業大学の学生との協働で、外国人住民と日本人の多文化共生について議論を行い、
学生たちは貴重な学びと交流の機会を得ました。

市長より本活動に対し高い評価をいただき、今後の国際交流活動への意欲も高まりました。

 

Our faculty member in charge of international exchange led seven students--four international students from Mongolia, Thailand, Laos, and other countries, and three Japanese students with study-abroad experience--to participate in the Multicultural Coexistence Promotion Committee workshop hosted by Hachinohe City.

In collaboration with students from Hachinohe Institute of Technology, they discussed multicultural coexistence between foreign residents and Japanese citizens, gaining valuable opportunities for learning and exchange.

The Mayor highly praised the initiative, further strengthening the students' motivation to engage in future international exchange activities.
