1963 4.1 Hachinohe College of Technology founded
Former building of Hachinohe East High School used as temporary college building
4.19 Nagane Ice Rink players’ waiting room extended, renovated and used as temporary dormitory
4.2 College opening ceremony and first entrance ceremony (130 students accepted) held in Hachinohe East High School gymnasium

2015 4.1 Regular Course departments merge into one department (Industrial Systems Engineering Department) comprised of four courses (Mechanical System Design Engineering Course, Electrical & Computer Engineering Course, Material & Biological Engineering Course, Civil Engineering & Architectural Design Course). Advanced Course departments merge into one department (Industrial Systems Engineering Advanced Department) comprised of four courses (Advanced Mechanical System Design Engineering, Advanced Electrical & Computer Engineering, Advanced Material & Biological Engineering, Advanced Civil Engineering & Architectural Design).
