The electrical, electronic and information technology engineering is closely related to all industrial fields and has been making a great contribution to their development. In order to meet current social demands, the Department of Electrical Engineering has been recognized into the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2005.
In the five academic years, the first, second and third grade students learn the electric and electronic engineering in addition to the information processing; the fourth and fifth grades, students can choose one of the two courses between the electrical and electronic engineering course and the computer engineering course as they can study specialized subjects more deeply.
Besides, as we place more emphasis on experiments and exercises, students are expected to be engineers able to have practical knowledge, leadership, and creativity to produce something new in the future.
The goal of the program is to turn out the graduates who are to be not only electrical/electronic engineers not also computer engineers who have the position to work in the broad range of informational industrial fields.
